Christmas is truly the most wonderful time of the year! Who doesn't love it when the town gets painted red, green, gold and silver. Christmas brings back so many memories and emotions because it is that one special day of the year when the whole family come together to celebrate. 1. Sydney Christmas Children's Concert
Surry Hills will be putting on a FREE family friendly children's concert to sing along to performances by Justine Clarke, Jimmy Giggle and other performances on the 30th of November. So pack your picnic rug and head to Prince Alfred park to play giant Jenga with the elves and meet Santa!
2. Lights of Christmas
If your little ones love Christmas lights then they would love to see the spectacular light and sound show illuminating the St.Mary's Cathedral on the 5th-25th December.
3. Christmas Wonderland
Sydney Showground will be having a Christmas extravaganza on the 18th-24th December. Get ready for an epic ice skating rink, snow play area and a magical stage and ice show! You can also explore the Christmas village and Candy Cane Lane!
4. The Grounds of Alexandria
The Grounds of Alexandria will once again transform their laneways into The Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweet with falling snowfall throughout the day. Don't forget your cameras because your little one will want to visit Santa in his magical cave!
5. Carols in the Domain
The ultimate Christmas Carol event will be held in the Domain this year. Enjoy performances by Samantha Jade, Paulini, Thirsty Merc and a magical appearance from Mickey Mouse!. The pre-show entertainment will kick off at 3pm and the carols will start at 7:45pm
